CHRISTIAN COUNTY FAIR July 4: Happy Independence Day. All active military personnel (with military ID) and veterans and their immediate families get in free at Dickerson Park Zoo. 9 a.m.-5 p.m., 1401 W. Norton Road, Springfield. July 6-7: The 82nd Annual Christian County Fair, at the Christian County A & M Society Fair Grounds along the Finley River in Ozark. Free! Area youth, 4-H and FFA members exhibit their animals and other agriculture related exhibits. Starts at the east end of Commercial Street at Ruthies Bar and continues west to That Lebanese Place, Van Gogh's, the C-Street Market, Pizza House, Sisters in Thyme, Cafe Cusco, Big Momma's, Lindberg's, Moon City Pub … all the way to White River Brewing.
